Letter of the week: F

Beep beep, it's transportation week! We will be introducing your child to various vehicles through songs, books, and crafts.

We will also be focusing on understanding and utilizing the concepts Stop vs. Go, Fast vs. Slow, In vs. Out, and Up vs. Down.

Lastly, this week your child will begin the routine of packing and unpacking their backpack at the beginning and end of each day.

Ideas for at-home practice:

1. Have your child help in packing and unpacking their backpack with the directions "put in" and "take out."
2. Find items around your house that start with the letter "F."
3. At the park, describe out loud when your child is climbing up and sliding down. For example, "Go up!" or "Come down!"
